There are several large international organizations in the world that bring together societies and unions of dog breeders from different countries. The largest such organization is the International Canine Federation ( Fédération Cynologique Internationale - FCI ). It includes cynological organizations in 91 countries . FCI has agreements on the mutual recognition of pedigrees and titles with no other AKC ( American Kennel Club , USA) and The Kennel Club ( Great Britain ) associations . But despite the agreement onmutual recognition , all three independent organizations mentioned have their own editions of Bichon Frize breed standards . Therefore, when planning to participate in such prestigious exhibitions as Westminster (USA) or Crufts (Great Britain), you need to remember these differences in the standards there.

You can look and compare the standards of the Bichon Frize breed :

Standard Bichon Frize FCI No. 215
Standard Bichon Frize AKC (USA)
Standard Bichon Frize The Kennel Club (Great Britain)
